This is a notice for maintenance work scheduled for the following servers:
gsh4.guru.net.uk gsp9.guru.net.uk
The Operating System on the servers listed above will reach its End of Life status after June 30, 2024. Therefore, we are arranging a maintenance window to conduct an in-place upgrade.
As part of this change the Cloud Servers will be rebooted multiple times, and ALL services on them will be unavailable whilst the upgrade is ongoing.
During this period, incoming emails will be queued at the origin server, and pages utilizing third-party caching setups will remain functional. However, please note that any websites served directly and backend/administration pages will experience temporary unavailability.
There will be no changes to PHP and MySQL versions.

EXPECTED IMPACT
We anticipate the Cloud Servers to be offline for up to 2 hours during the above window whilst the operating system is ELevated to the new version. Multiple reboots may be required to complete the process.
