GURU Cloud - Urgent: MySQL Upgrade Window for Multiple Servers - 2025-10-16

Hello,

We previously contacted customers regarding the planned maintenance to upgrade MySQL from version 8.0 to 8.4. This notice confirms the scheduled maintenance window for the following services.

  • grh65.myukcloud.com
  • grh66.myukcloud.com
  • grh67.myukcloud.com
  • grh68.myukcloud.com
  • grh69.myukcloud.com

GURU will handle the upgrade, but you should review your applications beforehand to ensure compatibility. Please note:

  • You must ensure all applications, plugins, and any custom code are fully compatible with MySQL 8.4.
  • The upgrade is a one-way change and cannot be reverted.
  • The maintenance window will be up to 4 hours to allow for batch processing across servers.
  • Within that window, each individual database server downtime is expected to be up to 1 hour.
